OldManNew: Chronicles of Immanence, Punctuated by Transcendence

Last day of chemo! (-2)

Tomorrow’s a rest day for my body in preparation to receive the stem cells back on Thursday (day 0). We are going to begin with Mozart’s Requiem (which I had the opportunity to sing in a fabulaous cathedral in Minneapolis many years agol)

Here’s a good quote today, and it might even be original:

When a new nurse came to check on me early this morning, she said something like ”the word is out that you are a real positive thinker.”

I replied that that wasn’t quite true; God was doing the positive thinking; my task was merely to be the positive doer!

So, a task set before me here is learning how I can be the hands and feet of Jesus exactly where I’m at…. I think I’m getting better. Amen.
